The Horizon Report 2008, Australia and NZ Version

Thanks go to Derek Wenmoth for blogging about this, thereby giving us the heads-up.

Here's a very brief commentary on the summary, which you can obtain free of charge from here.

I like the way the report has been set out, which is in terms of timescales of adoption, ranging from one year or less to four to five years (always hazardous trying to predict that far ahead, but still.)

I have literally just skimmed it as I rush about getting ready for work, but this struck me:

"There is an increasingly important set of influences from the workplace that are impacting how learning is designed and conducted. "

So that's happening not just in the UK then!
